Jorge picked us up right on time, in a beautiful and extremely comfortable Tesla! He knew where to park, went into the Pena Palace and Regaleira Palace with us – explaining the history and other details along the way – and let us take our time wandering around the sweet little town of Sintra. We never felt rushed; in fact, he often asked if we wanted to go into any of the shops. He even bought us each one of the little specialty tarts of Sintra! His English was excellent and we very much enjoyed our day with him.

Our guide, Jorge was fabulous! He picked us up at our hotel and off we went to Sintra. He brought us to the Peña Palace where we visited all the royal rooms of the three Kings who took residence there certain times of the year. Then we walked around the lovely town of Sintra and had a delicious lunch. Next we walked to the beautiful Quinta da Regaleria to tour the Castle. Our last stop was Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point on the mainland of Europe! Stunning views! Jorge was a fantastic guide.

He explained everything well. His car was top of the line, with a clear roof, so you could easily see more of the buildings as well as the many hillsides. And he had a bottle of water for each of us if we wanted it. We thought it was well worth it. Made the visit way less stressful.

Everything exceeded expectations! Jorge was a great host and was very accommodating. Really enjoyed Sintra. We would never been able to navigate these beautiful sites without him. Thank you
