We start the day with an immersion in a typical Alentejo cork oak forestWe will visit the "Sobreira Grande", where we will see an ancient cork oak, 250 years old, 12 meters tall and 6 meters in circumference, majestic and imposing, winner of the 2022 Portugal Tree of the Year award.
Take a 4x4 Jeep tour through a unique landscape of cork oaks, holm oaks, and biodiversity, where you can experience this natural treasure up close and understand its ecological and economic importance.
Next, we will visit a traditional cork factory, where you will have the opportunity to follow the fascinating process of transforming cork — from extraction to the final product — and understand why Portugal is a world leader in this sector.
